About Our Founder Judi
Judi Page was a beacon of light, an unwavering champion for those who needed it most. With a profound sense of empathy and an unshakeable commitment to emotional well-being, Judi dedicated her life to supporting individuals through their darkest moments and guiding them back to a place of safety, connection, and hope. Her work was a pioneering force in the mental health field, especially in creating inclusive, supportive environments that empowered individuals and enriched the communities around them.
In 2013, Judi’s vision began to take shape, and by September 2014, she made the Well-Being Centre a reality, the first of its kind, which she expanded nationwide. The Centre offered self-referral services where people could find the support they needed to return to work, re-integrate into society, and most importantly, rediscover their connection with life. Judi was not only an advocate for mental health but also a tireless worker, shaping crisis and prevention services in the Hart and Rushmoor area.
In 2017, Judi founded The Oasis, an out-of-hours adult drop-in service in Farnborough, which remains a vital resource for the community. She also successfully established the Young Persons’ Safe Haven in Aldershot, a place where young people could find safety and support. Alongside her practical work, Judi explored the arts as a means to promote mental well-being, leading groups that used visual art and drama to support emotional health.
Judi’s loss is a profound one, and while the world feels a little darker without her, her legacy remains. The Oasis will continue to serve the community, a testament to the foundation she built. Judi’s dedication to others, her boundless compassion, and her tireless advocacy for mental health will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her impact will never be forgotten.
